Hi there!

For years, women have felt dismissed when it comes to anything related to our health – never taken seriously enough, often told to “push through” and get over it. My personal experience gave me the courage to find the answers my own way. Since the age of 12, I suffered from chronic IBS. I underwent multiple colonoscopies and was at one stage evaluated for Crohn's disease. Despite all of this, nothing was ever discovered, and I was told that nothing could be done. Feeling let down, I took matters into my own hands. This was the beginning of healing myself.

For years, my period has always played a significant role in my life, even when it came to the connection between my excruciating periods and chronic IBS. I think for most women, our periods do act as crucial markers in our inner maps, whether we like it or not. We spend years struggling, coming to terms with the pain, misunderstandings, and lack of connection with our bodies, trying to persuade ourselves that it's not related. Until one day, we delve a little deeper. I wanted to take ownership of my life and was fed up with spending my time dealing with poor health associated with my cycle.
By choosing the wisdom within and letting go of preconceived notions, I have now embraced a journey of healing and empowerment that I can share with others.

I believe the journey of healing is a continuous process, one that commences but never truly concludes. At times, our path to reawakening knocks on our door, often arriving when we find ourselves at our lowest point. This was certainly the case for me. I grappled with various health issues, from mood swings and discomfort during my periods to skin problems and severe IBS. I felt drained, trapped within my own body, lost amidst the stresses of life.

Yet, within this turmoil, I found the beginnings of my powerful journey. It began with embracing cycle awareness, a crucial step toward unlocking my truth. I've since embarked on a multifaceted approach to healing starting with the innate wisdom and connection my cycle held.

MY STORY

Get to Know Me a Little More

When I'm not working on Femm and entrepreneuring, you'll find me indulging in self-care practices like mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and saging myself and the house. I also enjoy doing anything artsy to feed my creative soul. Cooking is another passion of mine, so I'm often whipping up delicious meals for me and my husband-to-be.

I love listening to podcasts on a variety of topics, from health and wellbeing to gossip shows. As a reality TV enthusiast, I'm usually catching up on the Kardashians. Balancing my role as a business owner with my other passions isn't always easy, but it's what makes this journey so rewarding. I can't stress enough how important balance is in my life. Even during difficult times, my interests complement each other beautifully, enriching my life and making me a better business owner because at heart, I'm a fun-loving, creative, cooking hippie, and embracing my diverse passions has taught me the value they add to my life.
